cameo silhouette 3 designer edition

THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER. If you have a Silhouette and are even considering purchasing the designer edition of the software , do it here. You will be spending almost $50 anywhere else, but here you can get it for almost half the cost. I have watched the price of this listing and it does change quite frequently. I think I paid around $28, but a week later when I was telling my sister in law about it, it was down to $24ish. There are quite a few Facebook groups dedicated to silhouette projects/questions/etc and people are constantly asking, "is it worth it?" or "where should I buy it?" My answer is always "AMAZON!!" The designer edition unlocks several tools that I have no idea how to use and several that make me so thankful that I bought it. The main feature I use is the "pattern fill" feature which allows you to fill a shape with what ever pattern you want. I make stickers for my planner, and I was just getting images from google...

silhouette cameo 3 unboxing

I’ll start by saying that this is my second Silhouette Cameo machine . I’ve had the original Silhouette Cameo 1 since early 2012, which was just after it was released. I have the Silhouette Curio and Mint machines as well. I also have the Cricut Explore Air and Brother Scan N Cut . I’ve owned several other Cricut machines in the past. I share all this to say, I’m not new to die cutting machines and software . Of them all, I’ve found the Silhouette Studio software to be the most user friendly, by far. I unboxed this machine the minute it arrived and quickly got to work following the instructions at the website listed on the decal that was stuck to the machine. Make sure you register your machine by entering the serial number.  Once you’ve registered your machine, you get a $25 download credit via email to be used in the Silhouette Design store . This credit expires one month from the date you enter it, so make sure you use it all up. If you don’t us...

Silhouette Cameo 3 vs Cricut Explore Air

With all the Silhouette Cameo 3 released with some features that are comparable to the Cricut Explore, one might ask, which is better, the Cricut Explore or the Silhouette Cameo 3? Both are incredibly popular machines, though they do have some key differences. Silhouette Cameo 3 Overview   The Silhouette Cameo 3 (as of 2016), is the newest die cut machine by Silhouette. It’s not as strong as the Cricut Explore but is able to cut most paper, vinyl, and standard fabric materials just fine. Even though the largest cutting mat is 12″ x 24″, the Cameo 3 can cut lined media up to 10 feet long without a cutting mat. Similar to the Cricut Explore Air, the new Cameo 3 has dual carriages, so you can print and cut without stopping the machine to swap out the blade or pen. The machine is also blue-tooth enabled as well, allowing users to cut wirelessly. Other features of the Cameo 3 are the PixScan technology. This technology allows users take pictures with their camera or smar...

Silhouette Cameo Machine

What is Silhouette Cameo? First, i want to start this post off by declaring that I've zero affiliation with the Silhouette brand . I've never spoken with anyone at the company, nor do they even understand I'm writing this post . The only real reason I'm doing my Silhouette Cameo review is basically because I am a crafter , and this product is my holy grail. It's amazing the things it can do, and exactly how enough time it can save, if you like to craft in so far as i do. I first found out about the Silhouette Cameo about a year and a half ago. I had formed seen it exhibited in craft stores , but experienced no idea what it was. So I made a decision to look it up. On the website , the manufacturers explain the Cameo as " the best DIY machine . From customizing your apparel to personalizing your party and everything in between the CAMEO can help you create your own DIY masterpiece" WOW! I didn't read other things (I don't read ...
