Silhouette Cameo Machine

What is Silhouette Cameo?

First, i want to start this post off by declaring that I've zero affiliation with the Silhouette brand. I've never spoken with anyone at the company, nor do they even understand I'm writing this post. The only real reason I'm doing my Silhouette Cameo review is basically because I am a crafter, and this product is my holy grail. It's amazing the things it can do, and exactly how enough time it can save, if you like to craft in so far as i do.

I first found out about the Silhouette Cameo about a year and a half ago. I had formed seen it exhibited in craft stores, but experienced no idea what it was. So I made a decision to look it up. On the website, the manufacturers explain the Cameo as "the best DIY machine. From customizing your apparel to personalizing your party and everything in between the CAMEO can help you create your own DIY masterpiece"

WOW! I didn't read other things (I don't read in to the nitty gritty unless I've the machine near me), but I understood I had to have it. So did I buy it? NO, not right then. Why you ask? Because it cost $299. That is clearly a BIG commitment.

Now I understand it could be possible for us women to drop $300 on clothes at the Kate Spade deal, so why was I hesitating on buying this machine that could so easily improve all my DIY crafts? I have no idea. Maybe it is the spendthrift inside of me, maybe because I couldn't use it before all my friends show it off, or possibly I wanted to save lots of that money for my weekend shenanigans. I couldn't tell you but let you know. I just knew it needed me over a time to finally take the trigger.

cameo silhouette 3 designer edition

THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER. If you have a Silhouette and are even considering purchasing the designer edition of the software , do it here. You will be spending almost $50 anywhere else, but here you can get it for almost half the cost. I have watched the price of this listing and it does change quite frequently. I think I paid around $28, but a week later when I was telling my sister in law about it, it was down to $24ish. There are quite a few Facebook groups dedicated to silhouette projects/questions/etc and people are constantly asking, "is it worth it?" or "where should I buy it?" My answer is always "AMAZON!!" The designer edition unlocks several tools that I have no idea how to use and several that make me so thankful that I bought it. The main feature I use is the "pattern fill" feature which allows you to fill a shape with what ever pattern you want. I make stickers for my planner, and I was just getting images from google...
